Sharjah: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honoured 122 volunteers at the Sharjah Police Science Academy (PSA), in appreciation of their efforts and sincere work in providing medical care and supervision at Al Bait Metwahhed in the Emirate of Sharjah, since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic until today.
During his speech at the honouring ceremony, attended by His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, general managers and their deputies and directors of departments, Major General Al Shamsi praised the honourees and expressed his proud of the outstanding levels of performance and voluntary work of citizens and residents of Al Bait Metwahhed in Sharjah since the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic.  

Major General Al Shamsi  added that the volunteers and workers on the front lines have shown the highest levels of sacrifice facing challenges, and supporting their local community in combating the epidemic, translating the vision of the wise leadership in volunteering and embodying the values of the Emirati society and noble humanitarian goals, whereas they worked with efficiency and sincerity, and continued their daily work with the aim of overcoming the pandemic, following the necessary measures to control the spread of “Covid 19”.

Commenting on this, Major General Al Shamsi added that he is very proud of their tremendous achievements and commended their responsible work.   

Major General Al Shamsi stated that the positive results that have been touched by all members of society, are the result of the dedication, commitment and effort of all volunteers from different sides, and their combined efforts and work as one team, where this effort was the focus of appreciation and gratitude from the leadership of the UAE, and its citizens and residents.

Major General Al Shamsi concluded his speech by saying that words of thanks and appreciation certainly do not fulfill the right of these volunteers who have succeeded in standing in the fields of duty despite the difficulty and harshness of this stage, but this ceremony organised by the Sharjah Police General Command is a sincere expression of gratitude for these efforts.
