Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, urged police leaders to implement advanced international best standards and continue to develop and provide quality services to members of the public as well as ensure the happiness of their staff in pursuance of the Dubai Police strategy.

Chairing the Dubai Police Executives Chiefs Council meeting, Lt. Gen. Al Marri reviewed a number of topics pertaining to the development of police and security work per the future vision of the Dubai Police (long, mid, and short) term strategies.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri stressed implementing innovative strategies and initiatives that contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of Dubai Police in enhancing security, safety and community happiness and providing the best policing services. 

He also listened to reports on efforts exerted by the various Dubai Police stations, as well as a report on identifying information security risks, key performance indicators, and ways to enhance the emirate’s safety and security.

The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Muhammad Ahmad bin Fahd, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic and Training Affairs; Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Major General Ahmad Muhammad bin Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Ports Affairs; Major General Abdullah Ali Al-Ghaithi, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs; Major General Saif bin Abed, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs; Major General Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Murr, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Pioneering Affairs; and a number of senior officers.
