Dubai: The General Department of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency at Dubai Police has recently received a delegation from the Special Security Forces Command of the Ministry of Interior to exchange best practices and expertise. 

Brigadier Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Acting Director of the General Department of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency, welcomed Colonel Abdulrahman Ali Al-Mansoori, Commander of the Special Security Forces at the Ministry of Interior, and the accompanying delegation, including Colonel Saeed Ali Abu Khalil, Acting Director of Support Services Department, and Colonel Badr Saleh Al Marzooqi, Director of Operations Department at the Special Security Forces Command.  

During the visit, Al Falasi discussed with the delegation ways of coordination and cooperation, areas of common interest, and some topics related to training and the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

Al Falasi also briefed the delegation on the organisational structure of the General Department of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency and its sub-departments, sections, tasks, duties and responsibilities.  He also highlighted some of the training programmes across the Department's various disciplines, including the Department of Security and Protection of Personalities, Emergency and Riot Control Department, and Explosives Security Department. 

After that, Al Falasi accompanied the delegation on a field tour and briefed them on the advanced devices and equipment used by the General Department of Organisations, Facilities and Emergency Security in its various specialisations.

Toward the end of the visit, Al Falasi and Al Mansouri exchanged commemorative shields and photos.
