Dubai: We are thrilled to announce our return with a Sustainable Souk-Special Ramadan Edition. Taking place at Revo Cafe, NH Collection Palm Jumeirah, on Saturday 8th of April from 12.00 to 21.00. This event promises to be an exciting experience for the whole family!

Get ready to enjoy Ramadan traditions, family-friendly activities, and shop for the best Ramadan and Eid gifts. This edition will also feature a clothing swap corner, where you can exchange your unused items for other clothes in good condition. Time to refresh that closet of yours!

There will also be a Styling Session for Kaftans and Abayas to make sure you look fab during the next iftars! And because we are all about families, there will be a kids area with activities to keep them happy and entertained while you shop and learn.

Join us in promoting sustainable consumption and meet like-minded people. Only brands that fit our ethos of Organic, Handmade, Ethical, Eco and Local will be participating. Don't miss out on this eco and family-friendly event!

About the clothing swap party
A clothing swap party is an event in which people exchange used clothing in order to promote sustainable consumption. By borrowing and lending, one can acquire additional clothing without incurring additional costs.

Everyone brings their “old” clothes to trade for other clothes. Rather than donate or throw away the stuff you don't wear, a clothing swap creates an opportunity for exchanging your unused or unwanted items and it is incredibly fun!

When we swap our clothes it helps to reduce the use of natural resources.Did you know it takes a whopping 10,000 liters of water to make one pair of jeans and almost 3,000 liters to make one cotton t-shirt!

Rules:

The event starts at 12pm
Bring up to 5 items in good condition
Items will be tagged with your details
You can swap them with other items from the same category
There is a small handling fee of AED15 
If you don't want your items after the event anymore, they will be donated to Thrift for Good. They have amazing projects helping kids around the world.

About the Sustainable Souk

The Sustainable Souk was born out of the passion to help families to transition to a more eco-friendly lifestyle. The next Sustainable Souk will take place during Fashion Revolution Week at the Media One Hotel on the 29th April.
