Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has celebrates the International Day of Families on the 15th of May with a digital campaign under the theme #FamilyComesFirst. This day, an annual observance celebrated by the United Nations and celebrated annually by communities worldwide, emphasizing the crucial role of families in shaping generations and their foundational influence on societies and civilizations.
As part of the foundation’s celebrations of this global occasion, a series of awareness messages and posts were shared on its social media platforms, and visually engaging content was developed in collaboration with Ferjan Dubai and Watani Al Emarat Foundation. These initiatives focused on the importance of the family environment and its role in strengthening societal bonds.

H.E. Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of DFWAC, underscored the family as the main pillar of society. She highlighted that the family serves as the primary setting from which individuals acquire the skills and abilities they need to progress in life.
Al Mansouri added that the foundation, in recognition of its social responsibilities, launched the #FamilyComesFirst campaign, sharing awareness posts across various social media channels. In partnership with Ferjan Dubai and Watani Al Emarat Foundation, DFWAC also created a video centered on the family's role in society.

For her part, Alia Al Shamlan, Founder and Managing Director of Ferjan Dubai expressed her delight in collaborating with DFWAC. She emphasized Ferjan Dubai's commitment to promoting health, environmental, and social awareness, along with reinforcing the paramount values present in society, the foremost of which is the united family.
Meanwhile, HE Dhirar Belhoul Al-Falasi, Member of the Federal National Council and Executive Director of Watani Al-Emarat Foundation, stressed that the family is the cornerstone of society. He pointed out that the family environment is instrumental in shaping individuals' personalities and promoting ethics, values, and principles that reflect societal and national roles and responsibilities, ultimately benefiting society and ensuring homeland stability.
