Al Muraqqabat \'SPS\' receives a Delegation from Sharjah Police

Dubai: A delegation from the Sharjah Police paid a visit to Al Muraqqabat Police Station (SPS), the first police station to receive a 6-star rating, to review the smart and diverse services being provided to the public around the clock without any human intervention.

The delegation learned how these services are instrumental in strengthening the security and safety system, facilitating swift responses to emergency calls, and enhancing security presence coverage in the jurisdiction area.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Majed Issa Jan, Deputy Director of Al-Muraqqabat Police Station, along with a number of officers and employees.

In his welcome address, Lt. Col. Majed reaffirmed the Dubai Police's commitment to fostering cooperation and exchanging expertise and information with all government and private entities. He highlighted the importance of such visits to utilizing different experiences and applications to develop work practices and providing a benchmarking opportunity to learn about best practices and experiences.

Key Services

During the visit, Lt. Col. Majed provided the Sharjah Police delegation with an overview of the public's key services, including criminal, traffic, and community-related services. These services are provided according to the highest global police standards and practices without any human intervention. Additionally, he highlighted the smart services designed to facilitate transactions for people of determination.

Direct Communication

The Sharjah Police delegation also received a briefing from Captain Majed Al Kaabi on the direct communication service for registering criminal-related reports without the need to meet with employees. This is done through video conferencing with investigation officers who speak multiple languages. Additionally, they were introduced to the various services offered by the smart screens available to visitors at the Station.

'Daily Brief'

Capt. Al Kaabi also briefed the delegation on the 'Daily Brief Hall' at the Station, which is equipped with the sophisticated 'Esri' system. This system utilizes artificial intelligence to provide intelligent mapping technology that tracks the locations of patrols, the sites of reported incidents, and the response time of patrols. Moreover, the system's data analysis capabilities enable it to predict the likelihood of accidents occurring in specific areas, contributing to enhanced safety measures.
