Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has welcomed the 
launch of "Dubai Social Agenda 33" by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Themed "Family: The Foundation of Our Nation," the Dubai Social Agenda aligns with the role of specialized family support institutions, including the Foundation, a leading non-profit entity in this field.

Throughout its journey, DFWAC has launched numerous initiatives and campaigns with the overarching goal of empowering and bolstering families, recognizing their pivotal role in society's growth and development. Over the years, these efforts have yielded significant and noteworthy achievements in this vital domain.

HE Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Foundation, expressed her enthusiasm and pride in the new agenda, emphasizing the pivotal role of the family in fostering growth and prosperity. Sheikh Mohammed positioned the family as a societal safeguard, a fundamental cornerstone for social cohesion and stability, and a cornerstone upon which the nation relies to shape empowered generations.
 
DFWAC will spare no effort to utilize its expertise and experience to fulfill the objectives of this agenda, which are in harmony with its strategies and efforts. These include promoting stable family units and reinforcing family communication to cultivate a generation that is confident, rooted in national identity, and prepared for future challenges.

Al Mansouri added that DFWAC is committed to forging ahead under His Highness's leadership, focusing on women's rights, children's welfare, and fostering a society where the role of women is activated and the family unit is recognized as a cornerstone of comprehensive development.

The "Dubai Social Agenda 33" will serve as a roadmap for DFWAC to continue its mission, aiming to create Emirati families that are cohesive, tolerant, and firmly rooted in national values and identity. This will be achieved through an effective and proactive social system focused on protection, care, and empowerment, alongside awareness campaigns and initiatives that align with DFWaC’s strategic goals.
