Dubai: A4 Adventure, in partnership with The Power Lift Gym and Greenway Adventures, organized a workshop called "Ignite" on September 8, 2024, with the goal of encouraging outdoor enthusiasts and improving their knowledge and abilities. This event, tailored specifically for its members, focused on various aspects of outdoor activities, with a particular emphasis on mountaineering.

From experienced mountaineers to new explorers, a wide range of people attended the Ignite program at the Power Lift Gym. The goal of the workshop was to equip participants with practical understanding, professional insights, and hands-on training so they could safely and confidently take on the difficulties of outdoor exploration.

To kick off the day, A4 Adventure Founder Hari North Kottachery gave an engaging keynote address.

Kishore Krishnan, a respiratory, yoga, and lifestyle coach, led the group in breath work techniques to start the program. Kishore gave a demonstration of the fundamental breathing exercises that sportsmen should practice to increase their endurance and performance. 
Nasar Husain, a certified mountaineer and the founder of Gateway Adventure, then spoke to the group. Nasar addressed on his own experience as a mountaineer, stressing the value of preparing ahead, taking safety measures, and showing respect for nature. His motivational remarks created the ideal atmosphere for an educational and friendly day.

The participants were then split up into smaller groups, and experienced trainers from the Power Lift Gym, Mahmoud Fawzi & Nayana, led them through a range of cross-fit and strength-training exercises. It was ensured that participants would exit the program with practical experience since they could apply these abilities in a safe atmosphere. They learned how to protect themselves safely under the watchful eyes of the instructors, reiterating the significance of efficient strength-building tactics and self-defence mechanisms.

The collaborative spirit was palpable, as attendees encouraged one another and celebrated their achievements throughout the session. Throughout the event, there was a strong sense of teamwork as participants supported and congratulated each other's accomplishments. 
Participant feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the chance to increase their adventure experience through skill enhancement. 
Praveen and Jisha, two of A4 Adventure members, directed and managed the Ignite workshop. A4 Adventure looks forward to hosting more workshops in the future, continuing to inspire and equip its members for their outdoor journeys.
