Dubai: The Hatta Police Station has held a coordination meeting with private sector partners to familiarise them with the services and initiatives provided by Dubai Police to all segments of the community in the region. The meeting also aimed to discuss feedback and challenges, explore ways to enhance performance and service quality, and listen to partners’ views and suggestions.

The meeting was attended by Colonel Ali Obaid Al Bedwawi, Acting Director of Hatta Police Station, representatives from the private sector, and a number of officers.

Colonel Al Bedwawi welcomed the attendees, emphasising that the meeting reflects the vision of the wise leadership in ensuring effective and constructive direct communication with all segments of society to assess the quality of services provided. He noted that Dubai Police values all opinions and suggestions received.

Highlighting the importance of public–private community partnerships, Colonel Al Bedwawi explained that such cooperation builds bridges of communication and integration across various fields; whether service-oriented, cultural, economic, or social. He added that private sector partners serve as a vital link, playing a distinctive role in development and in achieving future goals.

Showcasing Dubai Police Services
During the meeting, private sector partners were given an overview of key police services and initiatives aimed at enhancing community happiness and security. These included the eCrime platform for reporting cybercrimes, the “Police Eye” service, as well as other community-focused services and initiatives.

Attendees were also introduced to the “On-The-Go” initiative, launched by Dubai Police in collaboration with fuel companies in Dubai—ENOC (Emirates National Oil Company), ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company), and Emarat (Emirates General Petroleum Corporation)—to provide traffic-related services at fuel stations.

The meeting further highlighted the “Positive Spirit” initiative, which organises events to strengthen community engagement, promote direct interaction between Dubai Police and residents, and encourage sports as a healthy lifestyle for all.

Open Dialogue and Feedback
The Acting Director of Hatta Police Station, along with department heads and officers, listened to the partners’ inquiries and observations regarding Dubai Police services aimed at boosting safety and community happiness. 

Officers addressed these questions, responded to feedback, and provided important awareness tips beneficial to community members.
