The one-day event will feature local and international experts who will highlight and discuss the achievements of this segment and the requirements they aspire to achieve to enhance their role and interaction with the rest of society.
The forum at Hall 5 of DWTC will focus on a range of key issues affecting the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, including the government policies supporting these groups, support services for them, and modern technologies that contribute towards enhancing the community’s integration and communication in all aspects of life.
Musabah Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Deaf Association, stated: “Our partnership with the AccessAbilities Expo is a good opportunity to cooperate to serve the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. It is an important step towards integrating them into society. Everyone associated with this community is encouraged to attend the Forum and benefit from the important topics discussed.”
