Dubai Police Deputy Commander-in-Chief Reviews Force’s Innovative Well-being Projects and Smarter Services

Dubai: His Excellency Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Bin Krishan Almuhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Financial and Administrative Affairs, highlighted the central role of the General Department of Administrative Affairs in supporting the force’s success. He praised the department’s efforts to boost efficiency, embrace digital transformation, simplify procedures, and deliver services that keep both employees and customers satisfied.

The visit was attended by His Excellency Major General Dr Saleh Murad, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, Brigadier Mansour Al Gergawi, Director of the Department, his deputy Brigadier Dr Muhammad Al Janahi, and a number of senior officers.

Smarter systems and faster services

During the tour, Major General Almuhairi reviewed performance indicators and future plans, making sure they align with Dubai’s wider strategy. He listened to the challenges the department faces and discussed creative solutions to make work easier and more effective.

A key focus was digital transformation. The department is developing new systems that allow for quicker responses, smooth integration between platforms, and fewer steps for staff and customers. The aim is to eventually cut procedures down to zero.

Happiness at the centre

The visit included a briefing on the Customer Happiness Centre, which acts as a one-stop hub for smart, seamless, and innovative services. Its goal is simple: to improve people’s experience, raise satisfaction, and support the government’s vision of a better quality of life.

Caring for employees and their families

Major General Almuhairi also learned about the Services and Medical Care Department, which provides health services for employees and their families, including spouses, children, and parents. By working with top hospitals and clinics, the department ensures care is delivered to the highest international standards.

Fitness and readiness for the future

The Rehabilitation and Readiness Centre was another highlight. Through medical check-ups, awareness campaigns, and field screening programmes, it helps employees maintain their health, fitness, and overall well-being.

Recognition of achievements

At the end of the visit, Major General Almuhairi thanked the department’s staff, stressing that administrative work is the backbone of any police force. He noted that their achievements show a strong commitment to innovation and service, adding that these efforts strengthen Dubai Police’s reputation as one of the most advanced police organisations in the world.
