Istanbul: Our colleague Halima Al Mulla, a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Journalists Association, participated in a media meeting in Istanbul that brought together Gulf media professionals with representatives of Turkish tourism companies, organized by Kirk Zadeh Tourism Company, with the aim of strengthening tourism and media cooperation between Türkiye and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The meeting discussed the needs of Gulf tourists and the importance of media in highlighting Turkish tourist destinations, stressing the need for cooperation between the two sides to improve services and enhance Türkiye’s position as a preferred destination for Gulf families.

Representatives of Turkish companies stressed the importance of dealing with accredited companies to ensure the quality of service and the safety of visitors, while the CEO of Marriott Hotel confirmed the readiness of the Turkish tourism sector to provide services that take into account the privacy and culture of the Gulf tourist.
