Kuwait: The UAE Journalists Association is participating in the fourth Gulf Women Journalists Forum, which is being hosted by the State of Kuwait from November 15 to 18, 2025, as part of strengthening Gulf media cooperation and highlighting the influential role of women in developing the journalistic landscape in the GCC countries.

The delegation is headed by Fadila Al-Muaini, President of the UAE Journalists Association, and includes Reem Al-Buraiki, Board Member, and members of the association: Kulthum Al-Mandoos, Raya Al-Mazrouei, Wafaa Al-Suwaidi, and Halima Hassan Al-Shamsi.

The forum's program includes a number of dialogue sessions and specialized workshops on artificial intelligence and the future of Gulf journalism, in addition to discussions on developing media strategies, as well as the convening of the fifth meeting of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Journalists Union, in which Fadila Al-Muaini, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the UAE Journalists Association and a member of the Union's Board of Directors, will participate, to discuss developments and plans to enhance joint work between Gulf press institutions.

Fadila Al-Muaini expressed her pride in the association’s participation in this prominent media event, stressing that the forum constitutes an important platform for enhancing communication among Gulf female journalists, exchanging experiences, and exploring future opportunities to develop the media sector in the region.

She said that the association’s participation comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to empower female media professionals and enhance their presence in the Gulf and Arab media scene, noting that the forum provides an opportunity to review pioneering experiences and develop mechanisms for joint professional work.

She noted the UAE Journalists Association’s aspiration to expand Gulf professional partnerships, and its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of the media sector and keep pace with the rapid transformations in this vital field.
