Riyadh: A tragic incident has shaken the Telugu community in Saudi Arabia after a couple from Andhra Pradesh were allegedly killed by their teenage son, who later died by suicide on Thursday.

Gali Ravi and his wife Sridevi, originally from Rajahmundry, had been residing in Riyadh for several years along with their only son, Prabhakar. The 12th-grade student was enrolled at an Indian school in the city. According to sources, Prabhakar allegedly killed his parents at their home in the Hara area of Riyadh. He later died by suicide after jumping from a building at a different location.

Ravi was employed as a software engineer, while Sridevi worked as a teacher at an Indian school. The family was well known within the Andhra community in Riyadh, where they had lived for a long time.
