Dubai: The UAE Journalists Association affirms its complete and absolute solidarity with the leadership of the United Arab Emirates and its national institutions, and with all the firm measures taken by the state to preserve the security of the homeland and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents. The association emphasises that the security of the UAE is a red line, and that national unity behind the leadership is the fundamental pillar for confronting any threat to the stability of the state or the safety of its society.

The association commends the high efficiency and constant readiness of the UAE Armed Forces, and their vigilance and advanced capabilities that reflect a solid professionalism and a responsible defensive doctrine. They have proven their ability in every situation to protect the nation's achievements, preserve its sovereignty, and deter any aggression targeting its security and stability.

The association expresses its strong condemnation of the Iranian missile attacks that targeted the United Arab Emirates and several brotherly countries, affirming that such actions represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of nations, a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, and an unacceptable escalation that contradicts the principles of international law and good neighbourliness.

The association also affirms that the security of the countries in the region is indivisible, and their stability is a collective responsibility that does not tolerate recklessness or uncalculated adventures. It reaffirms its support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tension and consolidating stability, while emphasising its rejection of targeting civilians or civilian objects under any pretext or excuse.

In this context, the UAE Journalists Association calls on all media outlets, media professionals, and social media influencers to take responsibility for their words during this critical phase, to verify information from official and accredited sources, and to refrain from spreading rumours or republishing unverified news, in order to preserve societal security and protect national interests.
