Dubai Police Senior Leadership Council Discusses Strategic Indicators and Digital Transformation Plans

Dubai: His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Zaal bin Kerishan Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander‑in‑Chief for Administrative and Financial Affairs at Dubai Police, chaired the Senior Leadership Council meeting. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commandants and a number of officers, as part of efforts to follow up on strategic plans and enhance institutional integration across various sectors and organisational units.
The council reviewed the decisions and recommendations from the previous meeting, along with the agenda of topics, programmes, and operational and strategic plans proposed by various sectors and general departments – supporting sustainable development goals and raising institutional performance efficiency across the force.
Maj. Gen. Ahmed Zaal and council members were also briefed on performance indicators for the first quarter of the year, achievement rates in a number of critical areas, updates on the implementation of the artificial intelligence strategy and digital transformation within the Force, reports from the Internal Audit Office, as well as several topics related to performance quality and institutional governance.
Maj. Gen. Ahmed Zaal affirmed that the qualitative results achieved by various sectors over the past period reflect a high level of readiness and advanced efficiency within the police system. He noted that these achievements are the result of a clear leadership vision and institutional work based on strategic planning, innovation, and future foresight.
He stated that Dubai Police is steadily moving towards its vision of becoming the world's most innovative and excellent police force by developing field readiness, accelerating digital transformation, and expanding the use of AI technologies across security and administrative systems – in line with the future directions of the Dubai Government and enhancing quality of life in the emirate.
Maj. Gen. Ahmed Zaal added that the next phase requires continued teamwork, enhanced coordination between sectors, and ongoing investment in national competencies through training and development – contributing to higher performance and readiness levels and ensuring sustained leadership and excellence in delivering smart security services to the community.
At the end of the meeting, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Zaal extended his thanks to the officers and all personnel of the force in appreciation of their sincere efforts and dedication to duty. He affirmed that security work in Dubai is built on advanced scientific foundations and active local and international partnerships, which help reinforce security and safety, strengthen community trust, and achieve the highest levels of happiness and quality of life.
