Dubai: In a move that places residents at the centre of service development, Dubai Police have taken direct engagement to the streets of Al Quoz through the ‘Your Voice is Heard’ initiative.

Organised by the Positive Spirit Council in collaboration with Bur Dubai Police Station and Al Quoz Police Station, the initiative creates an open platform for residents to share feedback, raise concerns, and contribute ideas that help shape more responsive and efficient police services.

The initiative was attended by Major Khalid Al Hashmi from the General Department of Traffic, Ms Fatima Bohjair, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, First Lieutenant Mohammad Al Muhairi, a council member, a representative from the General Department of Police Stations, First Lieutenant Mousa Al Baloushi from Al Quoz Police Station, along with several officers.

Fatima Bohjair highlighted that engaging directly with the community allows Dubai Police to better understand residents’ needs and expectations, ensuring that services evolve in line with real experiences on the ground.

She explained that all feedback received is carefully reviewed and followed up, supporting wider government efforts to streamline procedures and enhance service delivery.

Residents were also introduced to key police services, including traffic awareness initiatives, communication channels via 999 for emergencies and 901 for non-emergency situations, and the eCrime platform for reporting cyber incidents.
