Dubai Police Honours 1,921 Outstanding Personnel of Police Stations in Q1

Dubai: His Excellency Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs at Dubai Police, attended the outstanding employees’ of the police stations during the first quarter of 2026, in appreciation of the efforts of police and administrative talent and work teams that contributed to enhancing security performance and police services, and entrenching a culture of institutional excellence across various specialised and general police stations.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Major General Eid Mohammed Thani, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs; His Excellency Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs; His Excellency Major General Marwan Julfar, Assistant Commandant for Ports Affairs; His Excellency Major General Rashid Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue; His Excellency Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering; Brigadier Majid Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations; along with a number of general department directors, police station directors, officers, and officials.

During the ceremony, Major General Hareb Al Shamsi affirmed that institutional excellence is no longer a choice, but has become a deeply rooted approach that reflects the wise leadership's vision of enhancing security and quality of life. He noted that the advanced results and performance indicators achieved by police stations are the fruit of working with a one-team spirit and a commitment to standards of efficiency, readiness, and innovation in delivering security and community services.

Furthermore, he indicated that Dubai Police is committed to providing a motivating work environment that supports creativity and innovation, and entrenches a culture of positive competition among employees and work teams, which is reflected in the quality of security and police services provided to the public. "I congratulate all the honourees on this well-deserved achievement and call on everyone to continue working with a one-team spirit, maintain outstanding performance levels, and fulfil the aspirations of our wise leadership while reinforcing Dubai Police's position as a global model in security and institutional excellence," Al Shamsi added.

Meanwhile, Brigadier Majid Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, delivered a speech, saying: "Today we celebrate a constellation of outstanding individuals who have been models of commitment, discipline, and strong performance. Through their daily efforts, they have contributed to achieving the objectives of the General Department of Police Stations and translating the vision of Dubai Police into tangible results on the ground."

He continued: "During the first quarter of 2026, the General Department of Police Stations continued to achieve advanced performance indicators across various security and service areas, thanks to collective work and ongoing coordination among all stations and specialised departments."

The ceremony featured the honouring of 1,921 male and female employees from various job categories during the first quarter of this year, along with 28 outstanding teams, in addition to recognising the best police stations according to approved institutional performance indicators — a step that reflects Dubai Police's commitment to entrenching a motivating and supportive work environment for creativity and excellence.

The ceremony also included the honouring of outstanding individuals from the Bur Dubai stations sector, Deira stations, and specialised stations, alongside outstanding teams in the criminal, traffic, administrative, and specialised fields. The Criminal Reports Team at Bur Dubai Police Station won the Best Criminal Investigation Team Award, while the Electric Scooter Team at Naif Police Station received the Best Traffic Team Award. The Excellence Team at Al Qusais Police Station won the Best Administrative Team Award, while the Support Victim Team received the Best Specialised Team Award, in addition to the honouring of the Evaluation Team.

In the category of best police stations in transaction and criminal reports completion, Al Barsha Police Station secured first place in Category (A), while Naif Police Station won in Category (B), and Ports Police Station won in Category (C), in recognition of their excellence in achieving performance indicators, quality of completion, and response speed.

In addition, the ceremony also featured a special recognition of a number of Dubai Police personnel who demonstrated exemplary models of courage and dedication in the line of duty, reaffirming the deeply rooted values upheld by security personnel in protecting the nation and the community.

At the end of the event, Major General Hareb Al Shamsi thanked all personnel working at police stations, commending their dedicated efforts that contribute to supporting the security system and achieving Dubai Police's strategic objectives. He affirmed that maintaining leadership requires continued development, innovation, and working with a spirit of national responsibility.
