Dubai: Dubai Police concluded its distinguished participation in the Dubai Esports and Games Festival 2026, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, affirming its success in employing digital games and esports as an innovative platform to enhance community awareness and engage young people in modern ways that align with their interests and aspirations.

Dubai Police's participation, represented by the General Department of Training in cooperation with the General Department of Community Happiness, was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and digital awareness, raise awareness about the safe use of modern technologies and gaming platforms, highlight the risks of cybercrimes, and promote prevention methods – contributing to the protection of community members and enhancing quality of life and digital security.

The Dubai Police pavilion attracted significant visitor turnout, hosting a number of competitive tournaments and challenges, along with interactive activities and various awareness initiatives. These aimed to raise players' and visitors' awareness of the importance of protecting personal data and avoiding the risks of electronic fraud and blackmail, while also introducing the e‑Crime reporting platform.

The esports competitions organised by Dubai Police resulted in the crowning of a select group of players and participating teams. Major Abdul Rahman Mohammed bin Fahd and First Lieutenant Rashid Mansour Al Awar honoured the winners of each tournament.

In the Super Smash Bros. tournament, Ahmed Alashrafy secured first place, followed by Saeed Al Darwish in second and Khamis Saad in third. In the EA FC 26 competition, Moaaz Ahmed Moustafa claimed first place, with Abdullah Mohammad coming second and Abdullah Osama Albasha third.

Meanwhile, in the Counter‑Strike 2 tournament, Just Old took first place, while AXE MENA finished second. In the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition, AXE MENA secured first place, followed by Onmitsu Kasekage in second and Onmitsu Razen in third.
