Dubai Police Sends 64 Employees on Umrah as Part of Staff Wellbeing Initiative

Dubai: Dubai Police has organised an Umrah trip for 64 male and female employees, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing employee happiness and improving quality of life through initiatives that recognise staff dedication and wellbeing.

The group departed from Dubai International Airport for the Holy Cities as part of the 22nd Umrah delegation organised by the General Department of Community Happiness.

Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, was present to bid farewell to the employees alongside Captain Ahmad Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Head of the Islamic Affairs and Tolerance Section at the Security Awareness Department, wishing them a safe and rewarding journey.

Brigadier Al Mansouri said the initiative reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to promoting employee happiness and enhancing quality of life, noting that such initiatives have a positive impact on employees’ values, behaviour and motivation to deliver the highest standards of service to the community.
He added that the programme is also a way of recognising employees’ dedication by giving them the opportunity to perform Umrah as a reward for their efforts and contribution.

Captain Al Mazrouei said the Umrah journey is one of several initiatives introduced by Dubai Police to support employee wellbeing and strengthen positive values. He added that the six day programme includes visits to both Makkah and Madinah.
