Dubai Police Showcases How Safety and Tourism Work Together at Arabian Travel Market 2026

Dubai: Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, visited the Dubai Police stand at Arabian Travel Market 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre, where he reviewed smart security and tourism services designed to make visitors’ experiences in Dubai safer, easier and more enjoyable.
He was briefed on the technologies, digital solutions and fast, flexible communication channels Dubai Police uses to enhance the security and safety of tourists while making police services easier to access.
Lieutenant General Al Marri praised the services and initiatives showcased at the platform, noting that Dubai Police’s participation reflects its commitment to engaging with specialised international events and presenting Dubai’s advanced approach to tourist security.
He said the use of modern technologies and digital solutions to provide proactive and easily accessible police services supports Dubai’s global position as a leading destination for tourism and business.
Where Security Meets Tourism
Lieutenant General Al Marri highlighted the importance of Arabian Travel Market as a platform bringing together decision makers, experts and tourism and travel professionals from around the world.
He said Dubai Police’s participation provides an opportunity to showcase the emirate’s experience in integrating security and tourism, while strengthening communication with partners and exchanging expertise and practices that can further develop tourist security.
Mountain Rescue in Hatta
Among the services showcased is the Mountain Rescue service provided by Hatta Police Station to protect visitors exploring Hatta’s mountainous and tourist areas.
Specialists provide rapid and professional responses to reports and emergencies in rugged terrain and carry out mountain search and rescue operations.
The team includes trained and qualified police personnel capable of responding to different mountain environments and emergency scenarios. They are supported by specialised equipment and vehicles that enable them to reach difficult locations and carry out rescue operations efficiently.
The team also supports and secures tourism and sporting events, contributing to a safer environment and a positive visitor experience in Hatta.
Tourist Support Around the Clock
Dubai Police also showcased its Tourist Support service, available through its website and smart application to help visitors enjoy a safe and comfortable stay in the emirate.
Tourists can easily enter their details and submit enquiries or comments directly through the service.
Requests are connected directly to the Tourist Police Operations Room, enabling a specialised team to respond promptly and handle enquiries and comments efficiently and professionally around the clock.
Helping Tourists Stay Safe
Throughout Arabian Travel Market, the Dubai Police platform is also hosting awareness sessions on tourist security and the measures that can help visitors enjoy a safe, comfortable and positive experience. The sessions introduce visitors to Smart Police Station services, the Lost and Found system, the eCrime platform and the cybercrime awareness hub.
