Dubai Police and CDA Join Forces to Support Dubai Weddings Participants

Dubai: Young Emiratis preparing for marriage will gain access to exclusive benefits and discounts through Dubai Police’s Esaad Card, following a new partnership with the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai aimed at easing financial pressures and helping couples build stable family lives.

The agreement, signed by Dubai Police’s Esaad Card Centre and CDA, will provide Esaad Cards to beneficiaries of the Dubai Weddings programme, giving them access to its extensive network of offers and privileges.

The initiative supports the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Programme, which aims to empower young Emiratis, reduce the financial burden of marriage and strengthen family stability and community wellbeing.

Helping Couples Start Married Life

The partnership reflects the vision and directives of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum to support Emirati families and create an environment in which future generations can thrive.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a meeting of the Supervisory Committee for the Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Family Initiatives, attended by senior government officials and directors general representing the committee’s member entities.

Brigadier Salah Al Marzouqi, Director of the Esaad Card Centre at Dubai Police, signed the agreement on behalf of Dubai Police, while Dr Ahmed Al Hashemi, CEO of the Community Regulation and Services Sector at CDA, represented the authority. Officers and employees from both organisations also attended.

Esaad Benefits for Newlyweds

Brigadier Al Marzouqi said the partnership reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to expanding the positive impact of the Esaad Card beyond its traditional beneficiaries and strengthening its contribution to community wellbeing.

“Supporting young people preparing for marriage is a direct investment in the stability of Emirati families and the strength of our society,” he said.

“Through this partnership with the Community Development Authority, we aim to offer practical benefits that ease financial pressures on Dubai Weddings participants and give them greater access to Esaad’s extensive network of offers and discounts.”

He added that the initiative highlights Dubai Police’s commitment to supporting the community alongside its core responsibilities of maintaining safety and security.

Supporting Dubai’s Social Agenda 33

Dr Ahmed Al Hashemi said the partnership supports CDA’s efforts to help young Emiratis prepare for marriage, in line with the objectives of Dubai Social Agenda 33, particularly its focus on family stability, quality of life and building strong, sustainable families.

“We want young people to begin their married lives with confidence and stability, knowing they have access to support that makes this important transition easier,” he said.

“This partnership provides practical benefits to Dubai Weddings participants while strengthening cooperation between government entities to support families and build a more cohesive and prosperous society.”

He added that bringing together the expertise and resources of different government entities allows them to deliver more effective support and extend the reach of initiatives designed to help young people and families at important stages of their lives.

Stronger Partnerships, Greater Community Impact

Beyond providing Esaad benefits, the agreement will strengthen cooperation between Dubai Police and CDA through the exchange of successful practices and experiences, the development of more effective working methods and support for innovative initiatives with a positive impact on society.

The partnership aligns with the strategic priorities of Dubai and the UAE, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between government entities in improving quality of life, supporting young families and strengthening social cohesion.
