Over 500 guests expected at the sixth edition of the prestigious awards, celebrating the achievements and contributions of Indian women in the UAE.

Dubai: The Indian Women in Dubai (IWD) Awards, a prestigious platform recognising the achievements and contributions of Indian women in the UAE, is set to return with its sixth season in November 2026. The organisers have announced Bollywood actress and television personality Gauahar Khan as the Celebrity Guest and Dr. Alpna Mittal as the Special Chief Guest for the upcoming edition.

The event is expected to bring together more than 500 guests, including women entrepreneurs, professionals, community leaders and prominent personalities from across the UAE.

Season 6 promises an exciting evening featuring an awards ceremony, entertainment and networking opportunities. The celebrations will include a red-carpet reception, a fashion show and recognition of outstanding women across more than 30 categories.

A special segment will also recognise People of Determination and cancer warriors, honouring their courage, resilience and inspiring journeys.

Celebrity and Special Chief Guests

Gauahar Khan, who gained nationwide recognition after winning Bigg Boss Season 7 in 2013, will attend as the Celebrity Guest. An accomplished actress, model and television personality, she has worked across Bollywood films, television, reality shows and live musical productions. Her notable appearances include Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and Zangoora.

Gauahar Khan has also shared a special message ahead of the event.

Dr. Alpna Mittal, a physician holding a Master's in Public Health (MPH) and founder of Health with Alpna, will join the event as the Special Chief Guest. She is also the spouse of HE Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the UAE.

Six Seasons of Celebrating Women

Over the past five editions, the IWD Awards have recognised more than 200 women across over 30 categories, celebrating excellence in leadership, entrepreneurship, professional achievements and community service.

Previous editions have featured prominent personalities such as Mandira Bedi, Sudha Chandran, Sameera Reddy and Lisa Ray as chief guests. The sixth season aims to continue this tradition of recognising and empowering women who are making a difference in society.

Reema Mahajan, Founder of Indian Women in Dubai, said that every edition of the IWD Awards provides an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements and inspiring stories of women within the community.

She noted that the platform has brought together women from diverse professions, backgrounds and experiences, enabling them to recognise one another's accomplishments, build connections and explore opportunities for growth.

Season 6 is scheduled to take place in November 2026. The organisers will announce the exact date and venue in due course.
