Dubai:Mr.Surender Singh Kandhari, Chairman of Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai, led the Sikh community in the UAE in a farewell event to the outgoing Ambassador of India to UAE, H.E. Mr. Navdeep Singh Suri last Friday 13th September 2019 at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai Sikh Temple.

The program started with the presentation of saropa to H.E. Mr. Navdeep Singh Suri by Mr. Surender Singh Kandhari. It represents recognition and gratitude to the excellent support of H.E. Mr. Navdeep Singh Suri to the Sikh community and to the Indian community as a whole. 

Mr. Kandhari has expressed his appreciation to Mr. Suri for the selfless service he has given without reservation to the Sikh community and to the Indian expats here in UAE. Mr. Suri in return has acknowledged Gurudwara Dubai in promoting the value of tolerance through the various community events organized by its leadership.

Pravasi Bharatiya Awardee and Founder and Chairperson of Zulekha Healthcare Group Dr. Zulekha Daud was also present in the event and was also given a warm welcome to Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai, visiting the Sikh Temple for the first time.
