Dubai Police returns Lost AED 50,000 to Traveler

Dubai:Within an hour, Dubai Police has returned AED 50,000 to a traveler who lost it in the Dubai International Airport.

The Asian passenger, unaware of his loss, was approached by the Airport Security Team who handed him over the money just before boarding the plane.

Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Bin Dylan Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Airport Security at Dubai Police stated that the department received a report claims that someone found AED 50,000 and 1,000 Rupees, which had not been reported yet by the owner.

"From our experience in such cases, the owner usually is either unaware that he or she is missing anything or searching for it around the Airport", Brig. Al Mazroui added.

"As a result of joint efforts between the search teams at the Airport Security Operations Room and foot patrols, the owner was identified in record time and his lost money was safely returned to him before he left the country", Director of the General Department of Airport Security continued.

Brig. Al Mazroui confirmed that Dubai Police teams always work tirelessly to provide a safe and secure environment for all passengers visiting the emirate.

The traveler was extremely happy and expressed his thanks to Dubai Police for their professionalism, vigilance, and the speedy action of returning his money and putting a smile back on his face.
