Dubai:With only a month to go of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), shoppers will need to act fast to grab the very best DSS bargains, unbeatable promotions, giveaways and prizes before they are gone.

Visitors to The Dubai Mall can take their summer shopping expeditions to new levels of excitement with The Dubai Mall’s Emirates Skywards Millionaire promotion. Until 22 August, residents and visitors can be in with a chance of winning an incredible one million Emirates Skywards Points by downloading The Dubai Mall app to their phone and scanning their shopping, entertainment or F&B receipts for AED350 or more. One lucky shopper will win one million Emirates Skywards Points each week of the promotion.

The world’s biggest shopping mall is also hosting the great Emaar Spend & Win promotion with two Emaar gift cards loaded with AED10,000 to be won each week when shoppers spend AED300. Visitors who download The Dubai Mall app during DSS can play the Scratch and Win game 30 Days of Summer Surprises for You, with exclusive daily rewards and offers available at the mall’s best shopping, dining and entertainment destinations. The game can be played until 16 August.

U By Emaar members can win shopping vouchers, weekend staycations, romantic dinners and family entertainment to be won for every AED200 spent on their U By Emaar card at Emaar community malls and Dubai Marina Mall. Members are automatically entered into the draw, which will run until 13 August.

On 30 July, DSS will host an epic city-wide Flash Sale with amazing offers of up to 90 per cent available on a huge range of items from big name brands, household stapes and fashion favourites. Available for one day only, the super sale is not to be missed with malls across Dubai taking part in the amazing promotion on the first day of the Eid Al Adha public holidays.

Until 29 August, residents and visitors heading to the Meraas waterfront development Al Seef can win a staycation as part of the Rewarding Breezy Summer Evenings on the Creek promotion. Families can download the Meraas Rewards app and spend AED350 at Al Seef to enter a raffle to win instant prizes and a carefree holiday at one of the destination’s fantastic Hilton hotels. A huge choice of offers and promotions are available each day throughout DSS, with some so good they can change the shopping habits of a lifetime for residents and visitors lucky enough to be named as winners.

As well as finding great deals in the stores, RAKBANK card holders can get 25 per cent cash back during DSS by simply sending ‘DSS’ to 7010 from the registered mobile and making a minimum of 75 transactions of any value. Each shopper will get a maximum of AED250 cashback.

For those looking to upgrade their tech devices, Etisalat is offering up to 80 per cent off on devices and accessories and is also giving away AED250,000 in prizes.

Taking place at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Deira until 22 August, the DSS Share Millionaire promotion is one of the biggest and best events of this year’s DSS celebrations. Six shoppers will become Share Point Millionaires when they spend AED300 and scan their receipts using the SHARE mobile app. Worth a total of AED600,000, winners of the DSS Share Millionaire promotion can use their points at any of the three malls. Prize draws for a million Share Points will take place on 1, 8, 15 and 24 August. The last day shoppers can enter this promotion is 22 August.

City Centre Deira will also host the City Centre Surprises game, with shoppers who spend AED300 able to enter a great prizes, all with the roll of a dice. If the numbers on the dice match the boxes on display, customers will win mall gift cards or prizes from retailers. The game can be played daily until 26 August.
