Dubai: The Dubai Police would like to extend the force’s sincerest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council, the Rulers of all the Emirates, Deputy Rulers, Crown Princes and all Emiratis on the occasion of the UAE's 50th National Day.

In a statement marking the national occasion, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, said this year is exceptional as the UAE government and people celebrate the Union’s fiftieth anniversary.

“This year we celebrate the UAE’s pioneering march of successive achievements and comprehensive renaissance in all fields,” “Thanks to the vision of our wise leadership, the UAE has become a symbol of eminence, and a role model to which the world aspires in development, progress, and prosperity,” he added. 

Lt. Gen. Al Marri further noted that our Founding Fathers have indeed laid strong and solid foundations, the pillars of which are unity, security, stability and tolerance, and above all, arming our nation with science, knowledge and cultural values.

“The UAE Golden Jubilee also marks declaring December the 2nd the World Futures Day by the UNESCO, in an international recognition of the success of the UAE’s forward-looking vision for the future in all sectors, and its ability to excel and lead in various fields” he continued. 

The commander-in-chief of Dubai Police reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to fulfilling their national duty in protecting, serving and ensuring the happiness of society, as well as providing sustainable and innovative services that contribute to the nation’s march of prosperity and development.
