Dubai : The Dubai Police General Command and the Dubai Competitiveness Office have recently signed an MoU to enhance scientific cooperation and prepare studies that contribute to achieving the strategic objective of the Government of Dubai to become the most competitive city in the world.

The signing ceremony took place at the Dubai Police Stand in Fazaa Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, by Brigadier Dr Abdullah Abdurrahman Yousef bin Sultan, Director of Future Foresight and Decision-Making Support Centre at Dubai Police, and Mr Hani Rashid Al Hamli, Secretary-General of the Dubai Competitiveness Office, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Brigadier Bin Sultan stressed that signing the MoU reflects Dubai Police's keenness on strengthening cooperation with various local government agencies and establishing partnerships that boost the emirate's safety and competitive security indicators. 

Hani Rashid Al Hamli affirmed the Office's keenness to harness all the expertise and capabilities of its employees to implement the requirements of the MoU in an optimal manner that satisfies the objectives of Dubai Police. He explained that the Office would provide data and information on global security competitiveness indicators, measure and compares the ranking of Dubai Police against the international police agencies, and prepare comparisons to measure the level of security and safety in Dubai.
