International Women’s Day..
UAE: While any day makes for a great opportunity to celebrate the women in our life, International Women’s Day gives us one more reason to do exactly that. International Women’s Day is on March 8th and is a global holiday that recognizes women’s incredible achievements, raises awareness, and encourages others to advocate for gender equality.
Feminism isn’t about making women strong. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength.

Women are the real architects of society..
To celebrate the contribution of women in our Life Artscrafts organizing an arts event on this day with all the women Artists of UAE.

Artscrafts used the Digital media and celebrated womanhood with all the artists and invited their artworks and discussing with all of them the upliftment of women in society.
We at Artscrafts are committed to giving women proper respect through their arts.
To celebrate womanhood, we announced an Art event cum exhibition on the 2nd of March and for this event 48 Resident Artists of UAE sent their participating entries along with paintings themed on women, their inner beauty and strength.

The participating artists were from various counties like India, Russia, Pakistan, Nigeria, the Philippines, Belarus, and some other countries.

Juries for this event were From India, Oman, and UAE and through social media online voting for best arts was also requested.

Approximately 50000 votes we got in 3 days of online voting from across the globe and based on a combination of juries’ votes and online voting awards has been announced.

In this grand evening of arts Emirati Artist Ahmed Al Awadhi known as Rukni, Peter Gressman founder of artforumuae, Emirati businessman Ali Ahmed Saleh Shujaa Alafeefi, Businessmen Eissa Al Mazrouei, Social worker Girish Pant, Dr Raghvendra an orthopaedic surgeon of Lifecare Group Hospital, Bank of Baroda Abu Dhabi head Mr Y K Gupta and many more eminent personalities visited and spend the time with artists and appreciated the artworks and also distributed the awards and certificates to all the participants.

Artscrafts allowed every artist to explain their arts and meet the guests and enjoy the event.
This event was sponsored by UHY James an Audit and Advisory Firm of Dubai VPS and LLH health care group, Abu Dhabi. 

It was very tough time for juries who were on line and at the exhibition venue to decide the best arts but it was done on consensus basis and following results were declared

About Artscrafts

Artscrafts story is less than one year old and during this short period, it is a known and trusted name in Art field. This platform was started by Mr Anil Kejriwal who is a chartered accountant working in Abu Dhabi as a Director in Jindal group. 

During the Covid-19 peak time in India in April 2021, one of his known Madhubani Artist was in financial trouble because the school she was working closed for the last one year and no market for arts she called him and asked for some help. To help her, Anil started this platform so that all the artists from remote areas can be connected and given an international platform to showcase their artworks and sell at no cost to the world.

This journey started last year in June and is now in appx 9-month platform connected with 300 artists from various backgrounds and locations. Presently www.artscrafts.com are having artists from 15 countries. Many artists with determinations are also part of this platform. During the last 9 months, Artscrats organized many events like India@75, International Children’s day, UAE@50, Sankatmochan and now this event on the occasion of International women’s day.

Mr Girish pant a social worker of UAE and Padmashri Artist Tilak Gitai is patronizing the platform made for noble cause.
