Dubai: Female and male cadets of Dubai Police Academy have recently joined Dubai Police's volunteering drive and distributed iftar meals to motorists.  

Brigadier Dr Muhammad Butti Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the Dubai Police Academy, confirmed that the participation of the Academy's cadets in distributing Iftar meals in the holy month as per the directives of Major General Dr Ghaith Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of the Academy, consolidate the culture of volunteerism and charitable work among all cadet officers. 

"Distributing iftar meals and celebrating the holy month have become renewed scenes that reflect deep human meanings, enhance fraternity and the values of giving, and motivate others to share a smile and do good," he said. 

Colonel Abdulaziz Muhammad Amin, Director of the Cadets Affairs Department, stressed that volunteering is a deeply-rooted tradition of our country and reflects the UAE's values and customs of tolerance and generosity.
