Dubai: In their first day in the Middle East, AC Milan visited their training ground, the Dubai Police Club Stadium, for an initial training session ahead of the Rossoneri’s debut match in the Dubai Super Cup against Arsenal – scheduled for Tuesday 13 December at 6:00pm local time at the Al Maktoum Stadium.

Off the pitch, AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni met with local institutions in an official moment that took place at the One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai in front of a delegation of local media. A representative from Rossoneri’s long-standing partner Emirates (Ahmed Khoory, SVO - Commercial Operation West Asia & Indian Ocean at Emirates) and His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General and Board Member at Dubai Sport Council, welcomed the Club, in the person of President Scaroni to Dubai to official kick off the Training Camp.

During the institutional moment, President Scaroni said: “Dubai is very important for us. We have a huge fanbase here and important partners like Emirates, with us since 2007. People love football in the UAE and here we have lots of fans of the club and we want to be part of this great love we feel.”

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General and Board Member at Dubai Sport Council, added: “We are very happy to have AC Milan here in Dubai. The Club has been here many times in the past year and we are delighted to see them again. This is one of the best clubs in the world with the best players and a rich history. We are happy to see AC Milan again here and we wish them to enjoy their stay in Dubai.”

This is AC Milan’s fourth official visit to Dubai in 2022, which underlines the commitment of the Club to the whole Middle Eastern region and to the United Arab Emirates in particular. The trip represents a unique opportunity to get closer to the many Rossoneri fans in the region, who will have the chance to watch the 2021/22 Serie A Champions play games in the Dubai Super Cup matches. Additionally, the Club’s schedule includes open-door training sessions, meet and greet events and other partner initiatives, giving all fans the opportunity to get closer to their favourite team.
