Dubai: Since 2006, FOI group have been conducting several blood donation camps in Dubai. Be A Donor Be A Hero is the theme to promote this activity. FOI Events in association with CGI participates in about 8 blood donations in a year organized at Latifa Hospital, Dubai. However, this Mega blood donation that was organized on Sunday, 20th of August is special as it commemorates Indian Independence Day.

The event has 228 donors from various states of India. The event was supported by Consulate General of India, Dubai and Maninder Singh, Vice Consul graced the occasion. He was impressed by the large number of donors organized by FOI team. S.Venkatesh of FOI events congratulated the volunteer and  FOI team and donated the blood as well. FOI has been felicitated by the officials of Dubai Health Authority last year for the services towards Dubai community by organizing such camps so frequently.
