Dubai: Under the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, His Excellency Major General Ahmad Rafee, Assistant Commandant for Administrative Affairs, inaugurated the "Strategic Focus Group Workshop for the Administrative Affairs Sector". 

This initiative aligns with the broader objective of brainstorming ideas, innovations, and future-oriented visions to support the strategic plan update for Dubai Police 2024-2033.

Major General Rafee addressed the participants, including the directors-general, their deputies, and council presidents, applauding their crucial efforts in discussing and framing ideas to aid the strategic plan update. He emphasised the workshop reflects Dubai Police's dedication to holding strategic focus group sessions and kickstarting a comprehensive update to the strategic plan. It aims to address the main challenges faced in police work and find suitable solutions through specialised focus groups for the Administrative Affairs Sector.

His Excellency added that the future direction of the Administrative Affairs Sector over the next decade focuses on backing and supporting all operations and services in the force. This is to realise the vision of Dubai Police in leading both locally and globally in all areas. "The achievements made thus far are due to the blessings of the Almighty, followed by the guidance and oversight of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, and the distinguished efforts of all those working in Dubai Police. Their commitment is evident in effectively achieving strategic goals and a relentless drive towards global excellence and leadership," he said.

Concluding his speech, Major General Rafee expressed, "We hope everyone puts forth their utmost efforts to enrich participation in this workshop, ensuring outcomes that meet the leadership's strategic aspirations and achieving both local and global leadership in various facets of police work."

Following the keynote address, the directors-general, their deputies, and council presidents were briefed about the workshop's purpose and the tools employed for generating future ideas. These discussions will bolster the strategic plan for Dubai Police 2024-2033, focusing on future horizons and visions, and culminating in actionable recommendations to support the strategy.
