Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, underscored the importance of the entrepreneurship sector in the economic and knowledge development of societies, and the role of youth in supporting creative fields and developing them to reach the highest levels.

This came during his attendance of the first session of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council under the title "Entrepreneurship and the Future of Startups" which hosted the Kuwaiti entrepreneur Khalid Alotaibi, founder of Talabat.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad pointed to the keenness of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to support young people and entrepreneurs, stemming from his belief in their major role in developing the economic sector and supporting the comprehensive and sustainable development journey in the country.

Entrepreneur Khalid Alotaibi spoke about his journey in establishing the Talabat App, from the idea to the implementation, in addition to a number of successful projects that he headed and worked in. He highlighted the challenges and opportunities that the project faced during all its stages and provided a number of tips and guidance for attendees to achieve success.

Alotaibi touched on the diverse opportunities that entrepreneurs and those interested in starting their own businesses enjoy, stressing the importance of embarking on new experiences and qualitative ideas that attract the public and provide new services in the labour market.

Dr. Ali bin Naye'a Al Tunaiji, Director of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, said that the Council is keen to implement the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, to encourage young people to be leaders and excel and innovate creative ideas that contribute to supporting the growth and transformation journey of the emirate of Fujairah, especially in the business and economy sector.

The session was attended by a group of university presidents, a number of officials, youth, and entrepreneurs.
