Dubai: In line with The Green Planet™ Dubai commitment to providing fully immersive experiences that foster a deep connection between guests and nature, the biodome welcomes yoga enthusiasts to experience 'Yoga at the Rainforest.' The unique 60-minute live, streaming yin yoga & meditation session, in collaboration with Core Direction transports guests to a green sanctuary surrounded by 3,000 plants and animals within the Middle East’s only indoor tropical forest.

Taking place on Saturday, 27th January from 7:30AM to 9:30AM, the rainforest promises a rejuvenating atmosphere that goes beyond the typical yoga studio setting. Priced at AED 149*, guests are encouraged to bring their mobile phones and headphones to get a close-up view of every movement, ensuring a seamless and engaging yoga session, along with yoga mats, towels and water.

The yoga experience is an extension to the biodome’s offerings to improve overall well-being and providing a holistic approach to wellness while also emphasizing the connection between yoga, nature and mental wellbeing.

Those looking to connect further with nature and animals are welcomed to meet different animals as part of the biodome’s exclusive animal encounters with Lemon the Sloth, Kendrick the Lemur, Thatcher the Anteater, Blue and Gold Macaws, Umbrella Cockatoos and more. Here, guests will interact individually and know more about the animal in their chosen encounter, ask questions to their dedicated guide about habitats of those valuable creatures. These experiences, beyond being captivating, play a therapeutic role improving mental health and overall well-being by taking guests on a journey of self-discovery, mindfulness and appreciation for the natural world. Animal encounters can be booked in addition to the rainforest’s day pass.

Furthermore, guests longing to become a zookeeper for day, are welcome to enjoy a deeper, behind-the-scenes experience and get the chance to experience what it’s like to be a biologist at The Green Planet Dubai with by booking the ‘Zookeeper for a Day’ program for AED 410*. This program provides hands-on experience in caring for the biodome’s animals, preparing diets, and participating in training sessions, offering a unique perspective on the life of a biologist.

All guests visiting the biodome, participating in the Yoga & meditation session on 27th January, joining an animal encounter or playing the role of ‘Zookeeper for the Day’ are invited to explore the truly tropical weather with the thunderstorm in the rainforest that brings the vibrant ecosystem to life and highlights. Occurring twice daily at 1:00PM and 5:00PM, the storm will last for approximately 5 minutes—plenty of time to get caught dancing in the rain!
