Sharjah: The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Qasimia University held the second edition of the “Public Safety Day” exhibition, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command and the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, at the university’s headquarters in Sharjah.
The Chancellor, Professor Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, inaugurated exhibition.

The exhibition briefed the visitor on the force’s various departments, ways to avoid harmful substances, and ways to enhance community awareness and a sense of security among the students.

Traffic laws and the latest technologies used in traffic management and patrols were presented to the attendees, in addition to instructions on extinguishing fires and safety procedures inside enclosed spaces. The activities included a live demonstration of the K9 Security Inspection Department, instructions on identifying perpetrators of crimes, and ports’ inspection mechanisms.
