Dubai Police Launches 'Residential Communities Security Project Charter'

Dubai: Acting on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Dubai Police, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation, has launched the 'Residential Communities Security Project Charter'.
Dubai Police introduced the new initiative in collaboration with real estate developers across the emirate, aligning with the Dubai's strategic vision to become the safest city in the world.
The charter was signed at the Dubai Police Officers Club by His Excellency Expert Major General Khalil Al Mansouri, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police; His Excellency Dr. Jumaa Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis; Aqil Jaffar Ali, Senior Vice President of DAMAC Properties; Mr. Hazza Zaal, representative of Al Barari Real Estate Company; and Mr. Abdul Salam Al Marzouqi, Director of the Community Affairs Department at Al Habtoor Group. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officers and officials.
The real estate representatives who signed the charter praised the launch of this initiative, which would strengthen the ongoing strategic partnership between Dubai Police and developers in enhancing safety and security across residential communities.
The signatories highlighted that the charter's content aligns with the government's directives to launch specialized collaborative initiatives between the public and private sectors. They noted that such initiatives and partnerships are crucial, as Dubai has become a prime destination for investors seeking to live, work, and invest in the emirate's advanced, thriving environment across diverse sectors, including real estate.
Enhance Cooperation
H.E. Expert Major General Khalil Al Mansouri emphasized that the charter reflects Dubai Police's steadfast commitment to strengthening collaboration and engagement with real estate developers. "As strategic partners, they play a crucial role in the safety and security system at the emirate level, which has a global reputation as a destination of choice for business leaders and investors," he continued."
Maj. Gen. Al Mansouri also highlighted that the charter's signing underscores Dubai Police's unwavering dedication to engaging with all strategic partners across diverse sectors, including those involved in residential community development across the emirate. He explained that the charter's paramount aim is to realize Dubai Police's strategic objective of making Dubai the world's safest city.
Charter's Objectives
Meanwhile, Brigadier Harb Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, highlighted that the objective of the 'Residential Communities Security Project Charter' is to promote security awareness among workers in residential communities, enable the early detection of negative phenomena, and involve community policing within these communities.
Brig. Al Shamsi noted that the charter reinforces collaborative efforts with strategic partners in the private sector and real estate developers. He commended the ongoing joint work between Dubai Police and all real estate developers to develop mechanisms for securing homes and ensuring the creation of 'safe residential communities'.
