Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has successfully wrapped up its engaging event, an interactive game titled "You Know Me!" that was held from June 7 to 9 at Mirdif City Centre in the Central Galleria area.

The event aimed to support and empower children by enhancing family and community bonds. The game attracted large crowds and was deemed a resounding success, underscoring the community’s interest in such meaningful initiatives.

Held over three days, "You Know Me!" card game utilised a creative approach with a set of cards that posed deep and engaging questions like "What is one thing your parents feel they can depend on you for?" These cards proved to be an effective tool in helping family members, especially children, get to know each other better, strengthen familial relationships, and discover commonalities among family members and children.

HE Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the foundation, emphasized that such activities play a pivotal role in supporting family cohesion, adding that interactive games and group activities significantly improve the quality of communication between family members, develop mutual trust, and enhance positive emotions.

She also pointed out that supporting families and children is at the heart of the foundation's mission, which is committed to providing innovative and impactful initiatives that contribute to building an interconnected society. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event and reaffirmed the foundation's continued support to all segments of the society.

Throughout the event, DFWAC mobilized its efforts to achieve its goals, which included deepening knowledge among family members and individuals in their close environment. This was accomplished through various questions that revealed different aspects of the participants' personalities, interests, experiences, and dreams, thereby strengthening family and social ties.

The game also provided children and families with the opportunity to express themselves, develop their social skills, and discover each other's ambitions and needs.
