Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander‑in‑Chief of Dubai Police, inspected Al Raffa Police Station as part of the annual inspection programme for general departments and police stations. The visit aimed to review operational and service performance indicators and assess the station's readiness to enhance security and serve the community.

During the inspection, the Commander‑in‑Chief was accompanied by His Excellency Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander‑in‑Chief for Criminal Affairs; His Excellency Major General Eid Mohammed Thani, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation; Brigadier Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations; Brigadier Rashid Saleh Al shehhi, Deputy Director of the General Department for Bur Dubai Police Stations Affairs; Brigadier Dr. Ibrahim bin Sebaa, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering; Brigadier Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Inspection and Control Department; Colonel Ahmed Obaid bin Hudaiba, Director of Al Raffa Police Station; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Rahim, Head of the Inspection Section; and a number of officers.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri was briefed on the station's area of jurisdiction, which includes nine vital areas covering approximately 16 square kilometres, with a population of more than 717,000 residents. These areas include Al Raffa, Al Souk Al Kabeer, and Al Karama, as well as a number of vital commercial, tourism, and government sites, including banking institutions.

He also reviewed the station's organisational structure and workflow across its various departments. These include criminal registration, general duty, traffic registration, customer happiness, detention, as well as security patrol teams, investigation, follow‑up, and criminal coordination units – all working in an integrated manner to enhance response speed and improve police efficiency.

The station presented its key performance indicators, which showed a sense of safety reaching 98.2%, confidence in the presence of a police station near community members at 98.1%, a sense of safety during the night at 96.8%, and job satisfaction at 97.3%.

The station also implemented 12 community partnerships and six initiatives, and received three institutional excellence awards, as part of its efforts to enhance community security and quality of life.

During the inspection, Al Marri also examined the station's inspection points and transactions completed during 2025, as well as its most notable community initiatives and strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening community security, raising customer satisfaction, and enhancing the sense of safety.

Al Raffa Police Station achieved a record response time of 1 minute and 5 seconds for very urgent reports, compared to the target of 2 minutes and 45 seconds . This reflects the readiness of field teams, the efficiency of the security response system, and the speed of handling emergency reports according to the highest police standards.

At the end of the inspection, Al Marri praised the efforts of the personnel at Al Raffa Police Station and the positive results and advanced performance indicators they have achieved. He emphasised the importance of continuing to work as one team, enhancing integration across departments, and continuously developing the security and service system to reinforce Dubai Police's leadership and enhance security quality of life and community happiness.
