Dubai: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates, and Chairman of the Council of International Investments, to discuss ways to strengthen economic ties between Odisha and the UAE.

The meeting focused on expanding opportunities for investment, trade, technology and industrial cooperation, with particular emphasis on leveraging Odisha’s growing economic potential and attracting greater international investment to the state.

During the interaction, both sides discussed avenues for deeper collaboration that could support industrial development, innovation and sustainable economic growth. The discussions also highlighted the potential for stronger partnerships between businesses and investors from Odisha and the UAE.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to further deepening the Odisha–UAE economic partnership and creating new opportunities for investment and collaboration.

The engagement is expected to contribute to greater economic cooperation between the two regions, while opening new avenues for innovation, sustainable development and mutual prosperity.
