Dubai: H.E. Rawan Jumabek, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UAE, visited the headquarters of the Emirates Journalists Association (EJA) in Dubai, where he was received by H.E. Fadheela Al Muaini, Chairperson of the EJA Board of Directors, along with several board members.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and develop professional and media relations between the Emirates Journalists Association and media organisations and institutions in Kazakhstan.

The discussions also highlighted the importance of strengthening communication between journalists and media professionals in the two countries, encouraging the exchange of media delegations and visits, and benefiting from shared professional experiences and expertise in journalism and media.

The meeting explored potential cooperation in organising joint events, training programmes and media activities aimed at developing professional skills and further strengthening relations between media institutions in the UAE and Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Emirates Journalists Association in supporting and developing the journalism and media sector in the UAE. He stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between media institutions in both countries and expanding opportunities for exchanging expertise and professional experiences in support of the strong relations between the UAE and Kazakhstan.

H.E. Fadheela Al Muaini welcomed the Ambassador’s visit, describing it as an important opportunity to strengthen media cooperation and communication between the two countries. She highlighted the potential for opening new avenues for professional exchange between journalists and media institutions in the UAE and Kazakhstan.

Al Muaini also affirmed the Association’s commitment to building effective media partnerships that contribute to the development of journalism and promote dialogue and communication among media professionals.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador toured several facilities of the Emirates Journalists Association and was briefed on its activities, initiatives and role in supporting journalists, promoting professional practices and developing the media work environment.

The visit reflects the Emirates Journalists Association’s efforts to strengthen relations with media institutions and organisations at regional and international levels, expand its network of cooperation and exchange expertise, and contribute to the development of the journalism profession and the international presence of UAE media.
