Dubai: Dubai Foundation for Women and Children marked Emirati Children's Day with a celebratory event featuring a series of activities in support of the UAE's wise leadership, which has always been keen to provide comprehensive care for the younger generation.The event aimed to raise awareness among parents about the importance of emotional safety and its direct impact on children's wellbeing, internal stability, and acceptance of others.

During the celebration, the foundation launched "Emotional Security Campaign" targeting parents and adults, under the theme "The Importance of Emotional Safety." DFWAC also shared awareness publications on its social media channels and distributed the campaign content to a number of schools. Additionally, the foundation reached out to employees of the General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) to further circulate the campaign's message.

H.E. Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, stressed that Emirati Children's Day, which is celebrated on March 15 of every year, reflects the wise leadership's commitment to supporting the needs and wellbeing of children. The foundation's efforts centre on direct engagement with children, with a focus on empowering them, developing their talents and abilities, and providing rehabilitation services to promote growth.

In addition to launching its "Emotional Security Campaign," the foundation also hosted a "Kindness Makes Us Stronger" event during the Emirati Children's Day celebration. Around 150 primary students from GEMS National Schools in Al Barsha participated in a variety of activities aimed at promoting kindness and positive emotional wellbeing. These activities included exercises to develop emotional intelligence, learn how to control anger, accept differences, and understand that all feelings are valid.
