Sharjah: The Central Operations Department of the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) has set up an innovation lab in collaboration with the University of Sharjah. Specialised policemen and college students were among those in attendance, as well as police directors, officials from universities, and many key partners, including the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.
The goal of the programme is to foster an atmosphere where police agencies are more open to new ideas and creative problem-solving.

The innovation lab showcased a variety of innovations developed by the Sharjah Police, including safety shields, drone platforms, the Sharjah Eye programme, brainstorming sessions, problem identification, solution development, and evaluation.
