Dubai: His Excellency Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police, emphasised the significant role played by the General Department of Operations in maintaining security and the quick arrival of various patrol units and rescue teams to incident sites, fulfilling the strategic objectives and commitments of the Dubai Police towards enhancing the safety and security of community members.

This was highlighted during a performance evaluation meeting for the General Department of Operations for the first quarter, chaired by Al Mansouri, with Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs, Brigadier Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering, Brigadier Turki Bin Faris, Acting Director of the General Department of Operations, Colonel Ahmad Al Muhairi, Acting Director of the Control and Inspection Department, and other officers in attendance.

Major General Al Mansouri reviewed the strategic indicators of the General Department of Operations and the Command and Control Centre statistics. 

During the meeting, Al Mansouri also stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation among all police sectors to achieve Dubai Police's strategic objectives, aiming for a global level of excellence and leadership in police work. 

Meanwhile, Brigadier Turki Bin Faris noted that these periodic meetings, chaired by the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police or his deputies, contribute to improving performance and efficiency, discussing future projects, and addressing potential challenges, following a comprehensive methodology to evaluate quarterly results within a specific timeline.
