Listening to the Community and Empowering Young Officers
During his visits, Maj. Gen Al Shamsi met several members of the public and listened to their feedback on police services. He emphasised that public opinions help Dubai Police identify opportunities for improvement and build a better service experience. He also encouraged empowering young officers, giving them more responsibility and confidence to make decisions and lead field operations.
Honouring Outstanding Officers
At the end of his tour, Maj. Gen Al Shamsi honoured a number of outstanding employees for their quick response to reports and dedication to community service. He praised their positive spirit and commitment to achieving excellence in their daily duties.
“Success in police work is measured by how much the public trusts and appreciates us,” he concluded. “That trust is what we always strive to earn and maintain at Dubai Police.”
