Dubai: Dubai Police have extended their warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; and to the people of the UAE, on the occasion of Flag Day, celebrated annually on 3 November.

Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, affirmed that Flag Day is a cherished national occasion that symbolises unity, loyalty, and pride in the UAE’s wise leadership. “It represents a moment for every citizen and resident to renew their commitment to the nation’s progress and to uphold the values upon which the Union was built,” he said in a celebratory statement. 

Al Marri noted that the UAE flag is a powerful symbol of glory, dignity, and belonging, reflecting the legacy of the Founding Fathers, the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs, and the visionary achievements of its leaders. “It also embodies the aspirations of a people whose determination knows no limits and whose unity continues to strengthen the nation’s standing on the global stage,” he concluded. 

Lieutenant General Al Marri emphasised that the mission of Dubai Police extends beyond maintaining safety and security; it includes fostering national identity, strengthening social cohesion, and instilling values of loyalty and dedication among the younger generations.

He concluded by saluting the UAE’s leadership and people, praying that the flag of the Union continues to fly high as a beacon of honour, prosperity, and pride for generations to come.
