Ras Al Khaimah: Global technology leader and cross border strategist Sundeep Kumar Makthala has been awarded one of the rarest and most prestigious honours offered by the United Arab Emirates—a Palace-Endorsed UAE Golden Visa, granted with the support of the Ras Al Khaimah Palace Office.

This distinguished 10-year residency recognition was awarded without any investment requirement, with all visa-associated costs fully sponsored by the UAE Government, reflecting the nation’s extraordinary trust in Makthala’s global contributions.

The UAE Golden Visa, introduced in 2019, is considered one of the region’s most prestigious long-term recognitions, extended only to individuals with exceptional global influence. A select group of distinguished Indians—including Shah Rukh Khan, Sonu Sood, and M.A.Yusuff Ali—have previously received this honour. Receiving it purely on merit, and without investment, places Makthala in a very exclusive category.

In a notable gesture of warmth and respect, the UAE has also extended Golden Visas to Makthala’s entire family, including his wife, children, and parents, acknowledging the values and global orientation the family represents.

Makthala’s work across technology, innovation diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and global peace initiatives has earned international recognition.He represents 2,843 companies across 63 countries as the Chairman of WTITC, serves as Global President of TITA, and has facilitated cross-border innovation through Tconsult and his Middle East expansion mission ExpandME. His Cyber Satyagraha Peace Mission, endorsed by Nobel Laureates, amplifies his global influence in ethical technology and peace-building.

He has addressed audiences in 63 countries, including at the United Nations, Microsoft Headquarters, and the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, and has been acknowledged by leaders such as Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and international business icon Carlos Slim.
