Abu Dhabi: The UAE Journalists Association and Fiori News Agency signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening bilateral partnership in the areas of media exchange and international news coverage, as well as developing initiatives that support the media industry and raise professional standards.

The agreement was signed at the agency's pavilion at the "Bridge Summit 2025" currently being held in Abu Dhabi. It was signed by Fadila Al-Muaini, President of the UAE Journalists Association, and Zulekha Sedikova, Director General of Fiori News Agency, in the presence of Mohammed Al-Tunaiji, Vice President of the Association, Hassan Omran and Reem Al-Breiki, members of the Board of Directors, and a number of officials from the agency.

Fadila Al-Muaini affirmed that signing the agreement represents an important step in the association’s journey towards building effective media partnerships at the regional and international levels, noting that cooperation with Fiori News Agency will open new horizons to enhance the exchange of experiences and improve professional practices, in line with the rapid developments in the global media landscape.

She added that the association is keen to provide broader training and development opportunities, and to launch joint initiatives that support media competencies and enhance the production of meaningful content, thereby consolidating the UAE’s position as a center of media excellence. She noted the association’s aspiration for Fury Agency to be an active partner in various upcoming local activities and events.

Fadila Al-Muaini explained that the agreement establishes a new phase of distinguished professional relations, and supports the building of shared knowledge tools that serve the aspirations of both sides and keep pace with the rapid development in the media sector.

For her part, Zulekha Sedikova confirmed that the agreement comes within the framework of the Fiori Agency’s strategy aimed at expanding partnerships with governmental and private entities and media institutions at the local, regional and international levels, noting that cooperation with the UAE Journalists Association reflects the strength of the ties between the two parties, and contributes to expanding the knowledge base and benefiting from the specialized expertise of both sides.

Sedikova praised the association’s role in developing the media landscape, explaining that the agreement includes the implementation of joint training programs, the exchange of media materials, and the organization of events and workshops that serve workers in the media sector.

It is worth noting that the agreement also stipulated strengthening cooperation in the areas of exchanging news content, implementing joint media projects, exchanging visits and experiences between work teams, in addition to expanding the areas of technical cooperation in line with scientific and technological development in the media sector.
