Dubai: DAMAC Properties, the UAE and Middle East’s largest private real estate developer, has closed 2025 with record-breaking sales of AED 36 billion, securing its position as the No.1 private developer in the UAE. The milestone year marks the beginning of what Managing Director Amira Sajwani describes as “a new era” for the company, driven by strong fundamentals, visionary leadership, and sustained demand for luxury real estate.

Commenting on the achievement, Amira Sajwani said that the year ahead signals a renewed focus on delivering high-quality homes for families, alongside the launch of landmark developments and major global partnerships. She emphasized that DAMAC’s next phase will continue to raise benchmarks in design, quality, and lifestyle offerings.

A defining moment of 2025 came in November, when DAMAC recorded AED 11 billion in sales within just five hours from the launch of DAMAC Islands 2. The achievement surpassed the developer’s own 2024 record, when DAMAC Islands generated more than AED 10.2 billion in under 24 hours—a feat that earned recognition from Guinness World Records for the highest revenue from a real estate launch in a single day. The continued success highlights strong market appetite for luxury waterfront and resort-style communities in Dubai.

Sajwani reaffirmed DAMAC’s long-standing leadership position, crediting the UAE’s leadership, the company’s Founder Hussain Sajwani, and the support of partners, brokers, and teams for enabling the delivery of world-class developments. Founded in 2002, DAMAC Properties has delivered approximately 50,000 homes to date, with more than 54,000 additional units currently under construction.

In 2025, DAMAC expanded both locally and internationally through high-profile launches and strategic collaborations. The year began with the unveiling of Riverside Views in January, a waterfront-focused development in Dubai emphasizing wellness and lifestyle-centric living. The launch was marked by a high-profile event featuring international celebrities, including Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan.

DAMAC also announced a landmark global partnership with Chelsea Football Club. Chelsea Residences by DAMAC introduces a unique residential concept that blends the global brand strength of Chelsea F.C. with one of Dubai’s last prime waterfront locations. The development will occupy a rare corner plot offering uninterrupted 270-degree views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline. As part of the partnership, DAMAC also featured on the front of Chelsea FC’s men’s and women’s shirts during the latter part of the 2024/25 season.

Further strengthening its portfolio, DAMAC launched Capri One in August 2025, followed by DAMAC District a month later—an integrated community within DAMAC Hills designed to redefine urban living. The company’s largest launch of the year, DAMAC Islands 2, expanded its island-living portfolio, while its international footprint grew with the Phase One launch of DAMAC Hills Baghdad, marking the developer’s official entry into the Iraqi market.

Throughout 2025, DAMAC introduced flexible payment plans and innovative banking partnerships, setting new benchmarks for accessibility and financial flexibility in UAE real estate investment.
