MahaBiz 2026 Draws Over 800 Global Delegates, Reinforces Dubai’s Role as Gateway for International Business

Dubai: The 9th edition of MahaBiz 2026, organised by GMBF Global (Gulf Maharashtra Business Forum), concluded successfully in Dubai, attracting over 800 delegates from more than 25 countries and reaffirming its standing as a leading global business networking platform connecting India with international markets.

Held over two days, the event commenced on 31 January at the Al Habtoor Polo Club and concluded on 1 February at Atlantis, The Palm. MahaBiz 2026 brought together entrepreneurs, MSMEs, investors, policymakers, professionals, and business forums from India, the UAE, GCC, MENA, Africa, Europe, Australia, Romania, and South-East Asia. The conference focused on delivering measurable outcomes under its central theme, “Contacts to Contracts.”

The event featured a structured agenda that included inaugural addresses, keynote sessions, sector-focused presentations, expert talks, and panel discussions. Key themes explored during the conclave included India–UAE trade opportunities, benefits under the CEPA framework, global wealth creation, Africa-centric growth strategies, the role of technology and artificial intelligence in business, leadership excellence, and buyer–seller engagement models.

The conference was graced by several prominent dignitaries, including:

  • H.E. Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India, Dubai
  • H.E. Dr Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Former Minister of Environment & Climate Change and Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council
  • H.E. Tariq AlSuwaidi, Director, New Economy Department, Ministry of Economy & Tourism
  • Fahad Al Gergawi, Undersecretary, Ministry of Foreign Trade
  • Dr Subhash Bhamre, Former Minister of State for Defence, Government of India

Industry leaders and subject-matter experts such as CA Sahitya Chaturvedi, Sharad Mhaske, Milind Garud, Biranchi Sarangi, CA Rishi Agarwal, Architect Atul Mhatre, Reim Al Houni, Fahed Bizzari, Dr Swapnil Gite, Dr Swaroop Savanur, and Dr Satya Menon contributed through insightful sessions and panel discussions.

The conclave also recognised outstanding achievers across sectors. Ms. K. Papachsorn Meepa (“Kae”) from Thailand was honoured for her notable contributions, while the presence and blessings of Padma Shri Sadguru Bramheshanand Acharya Swami added a spiritual dimension to the global business gathering.

Key highlights of MahaBiz 2026 included structured Buyer–Seller meetings, the release of the GMBF Global Business Directory, and the felicitation of achievers, all of which generated strong momentum for future collaborations and cross-border partnerships.

Addressing delegates at the conclusion of the event, Dr Suniil V.
